Laurie D. Juraszek

I am a licensed clinical psychologist trained in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy. My start with the model was in graduate school at Pacific University in Oregon. After going into private practice in Eagle River, Alaska I decided to advance my understanding of this model and completed an Externship with Dr. Cindy Goodness-Zane from Hawaii in 2022. After the externship, I joined a supervisor in training and another advanced EFT therapist along with several others in our externship in a twice monthly consultation group which I have been engaged with since that time. I completed Core Skills, also with Cindy, in 2022/23. I have continued to advance my training in EFT by utilizing Success in Vulnerability. I had the honor of attending an advanced training with George Faller in Las Vegas in 2023 with a focus on Stage 2 of EFCT. I am working toward certification with my consultation team as I continue to hone my skills and prepare video for certification. I am a believer that this model works, but also that it requires me to stay immersed in learning and consulting with others.
